Love the 225 for sure. Right out of the box awesome. Only problem is back in the day when you bought a welder from a dealer the customer would get it delivered, set up, and checked out for any questions by a sales person. Now you are on your own. Not a very personable sale if you ask me. This alone gives me reason to rethink who I buy from.

We now have 4 of these miller 252 MiG welders, along with an assortment of other miller products an welders (bobcat 230, aluminum spool guns, air supplies helmets etc) So far have been happy with everything besides these 252 MiG welders, I am so frustrated with these things the guns are complete junk, very often the liner pulls away from the brass end cap where the gas is supplied to the hose which results in no gas flow to the nozzle. Have tried every different miller gun for those welders an have zero luck with any, tried an off brand gun and it was terrible feeling an the guys didn't like it so back to using millers cheap garbage guns and spending a lot of time working on guns an hose liners and waiting as they get sent in time after time to be relined an fixed. We now have 4 spare guns an hoses to replace when one starts acting up and literally still can't keep all machines going with a good liner and gun. Next issue is the machines are now 2 years old, they get used 5 days a week so have some hours on them but are having issues with control boards on 2 of the 4, not what expected when I spent close to $20,000 on these 4 welders. Debating getting a Lincoln or 2 but hate having multiple brands of equipment because parts/consumables are different and makes more of a hassle keeping supplies for them on hand. Over all not impressed with the miller 252

Workhorse of medium sized shops
These are just plain no frills workhorse wire feed welders. We have several in the shop and my guys run them hard day in and day out. Gas shielded flux core, solid wire mig and hardface wire these machines are tanks.
