For decades, the name "Syncrowave" has been synonymous with TIG welding excellence. The new Miller Syncrowave 300 takes that legacy and modernizes it for today's welder who needs mobility, ease of use, and perfect arcs every time. Gone are the days of wrestling with a 350-pound transformer machine; this inverter-based powerhouse weighs in at a manageable 101 lbs, giving you the freedom to move your station where the work is without a forklift. Whether you are welding intricate aluminum parts for automotive applications or performing heavy repair work, this machine gives you the control you need without the bulk.
We know that time spent fiddling with settings is time not spent welding. That is why the Syncrowave 300 features Miller's intuitive Pro-Set button. With a single touch, you can access factory-preset parameters for Balance, Frequency, Pulse, and DIG. It eliminates the guesswork, giving you the confidence that your machine is dialed in for standard applications instantly. If you need to fine-tune, the interface is clean and easy to navigate, allowing you to adjust your AC balance to clean that oxidized aluminum or tweak your pulse settings for the perfect stack of dimes.
The arc stability on the Syncrowave 300 is second to none. Thanks to the Blue Lightning high-frequency arc starter, you get consistent, non-contact arc starts every single time, eliminating the frustration of tungsten contamination or hard starts. For sensitive applications, the Lift-Arc feature allows you to start the arc without high frequency. The squarewave AC output gives you a crisp, defined arc that makes welding aluminum feel effortless compared to older sine-wave machines. You get better directional control and a puddle that goes exactly where you want it.
This machine isn't just about performance; it's about improving your work environment. The energy-efficient design can save you up to 33% on your electric bill compared to outdated equipment. Plus, the Fan-On-Demand cooling means the fan isn't roaring all day—it only kicks on when the machine gets hot. This reduces noise fatigue and keeps your shop quieter. From the robust lift eye to the durable case, every inch of the Syncrowave 300 is built to help you weld smarter, not harder.

Have 2 at shop
Works great
Miller still on top
We use this product to mainly weld stainless pipe and it works great. This is the second one of the same model we have bought in the last 4 years and we run both of them full time with no issues. I have used Miller machines MIG/TIG for the last 10 years and do not plan on switching anytime soon.
I would buy this machine again one hundred times over
We build custom truck bodies for the equine industry this machine has been a great addition to our fabrication line
I would buy this tig welder again.
We are an injection molding company, we repair parting line and mold damage. This machine has quick and easy set up and capable to put a nice small bead of weld on the parting line of the mold.
It's ok so far
We use this for welding classes at a junior college. So far they seem to be doing ok. I don't like how you have to cycle through everything to change the settings when tig welding.

I would buy this again.
Smooth, like riding a Cadillac.
Great welder
Great welder. Only negative is no frequency adjustment.
Great TIG welder for beginners, but with a design flaw
This welder is great for us—how it's used and the group that uses it. In a university engineering lab, our primary users are students who start with zero TIG experience, and this welder offers great basic features—HF start, pulse option, AC, hot start (SMAW)—without all the other bells and whistles that can overwhelm a first-timer. Controls are simple, starts are easy and reliable, and even our one student who is a certified welder really likes it. For the bad (the only reason I won't give it 5 stars): it blew its mother board after less than two years. Fortunately it was still under warranty, but my dealer told me that he's had a lot of these 300s come back with the same problem. So, I expect the same in another two years or so. When that happens, we may fix it, may go on to something else.
Prefect in a learning environment.
We purchased 4 Syncrowave 300Tig Runner units complete with the wired pedal for the high school CTE welding program I teach. These units are very user friendly, have great capabilities and are easy to get kids welding with.
