As water drips into its 1/2 gallon tank, the float rises and automatically triggers the pump to flush the water out through a 3/8" tube, pushing it up to 20 feet vertically if needed. This means you can drain your equipment into the pump and run the discharge line up and over to a sink or drain, even if it's far away or overhead.
