This allows for rapid heating of copper tubing and fittings, making it suitable for soldering pipes up to 2 inches and brazing up to 3/4 inch (depending on fuel gas used).

This outfit is supplied as a complete "Snake" system. It includes the torch handle, the T-4 tip, a 12-foot hose assembly, and a regulator adapted for standard disposable cylinders (CGA-600 connection). The separation of the regulator from the handle is a critical design element for precision work; it isolates the weight of the cylinder, providing the welder or fitter with a lightweight tool for intricate joints. The 360-degree swiveling tip assembly ensures that the operator can maintain the proper torch angle regardless of the pipe's orientation, which is critical for ensuring capillary action during the brazing process.

The PS-4T is optimized for use with high-energy gases such as MAP-Pro (Propylene) or standard Propane.
