The PW14-3T is a professional-grade twin welding hose assembly designed for versatility and safety in industrial oxy-fuel applications. Measuring 3 feet in length with a 1/4-inch inner diameter, this hose is specifically engineered to serve as a "whip" or lead hose. By installing this shorter, lighter segment between the welding or cutting torch and the primary gas supply line, operators can significantly reduce the physical strain caused by the weight and drag of long hose runs. This results in improved torch control, higher precision in cuts and welds, and reduced operator fatigue over long shifts.
Constructed to Grade T specifications, this hose features a high-quality synthetic rubber tube and cover. The Grade T rating indicates that the hose is non-blooming and chemically stable when used with all common fuel gases, including Acetylene, Propane, Propylene, MAPP, and Natural Gas. This contrasts with Grade R hoses, which are strictly limited to acetylene use. The outer cover is also formulated to be oil and flame resistant, ensuring longevity even in harsh shop environments where exposure to grease, sparks, and spatter is common. The hose is reinforced to withstand working pressures up to 200 PSI, meeting or exceeding RMA and CGA specifications for welding hose safety.
