It features a heavy-duty AC induction motor that doesn't bog down or speed up as it gets hot, ensuring your travel speed stays exactly where you set it. The motor is placed on the opposite side of the torch to keep it cool, while the rugged housing protects the internal drive components. The cone disc drive system provides instant torque and very smooth movement, eliminating the "stutter" that can cause jagged cut edges.

Easy to Set Up and Use

You don't need to be a CNC programmer to run this machine. The controls are simple and rugged. You can adjust the speed from 1 to 60 inches per minute with a simple dial, covering everything from thin sheet to 12-inch thick slab. The torch arm is counter-balanced, meaning you can extend the torch out a full 18 inches without the machine tipping over. Adjustments to the torch height and angle are tool-free, thanks to large thumb screws that you can operate even while wearing welding gloves.
