Feeding issues are among the most common frustrations in MIG welding, often leading to downtime and weld defects. The Weld-Aid Lube-Matic Red Wire Kleener Pads (SKU: 610-0328) provide a highly effective solution to these problems. These red felt pads are pre-treated with Lube-Matic solution, an abrasive-free lubricant that conditions the wire surface without compromising the weld quality. This pack contains six replacement pads, designed to fit standard wire cleaning clips.

Why use Red Lube-Matic Pads?
As wire travels from the spool to the contact tip, it generates friction against the liner. Over time, this friction can cause the wire to chatter or slip at the drive rolls. The Red Lube-Matic pads drastically reduce this friction, allowing the wire to glide smoothly. Additionally, they act as a pre-filter, stripping away dust, rust, and other shop contaminants that would otherwise clog the liner or contaminate the weld pool. This results in a cleaner arc, less spatter, and longer intervals between liner replacements.

These pads are non-clogging and easy to install. Simply insert a pad into the black clip (sold separately or part of a kit) and attach it to the wire before the inlet guide. For welders using mild steel or flux-cored wires, these pads are a must-have consumable to ensure peak equipment performance and weld consistency.
