The Lincoln Electric Magnum PRO AL G450W (K3358-3) integrates advanced push-pull wire feeding technology designed specifically to optimize aluminum welding operations. Aluminum wire is soft and prone to buckling or "birdnesting" in standard push-only systems. The G450W mitigates this by employing a motor in the gun handle that pulls the wire in sync with the feeder, drastically reducing friction in the wire feed path. This results in smooth, uninterrupted feeding and minimizes damage to the wire, ensuring a consistent arc and superior weld quality even with soft 4043 or 5356 alloys.

Heavy-Duty Water-Cooled Performance

Designated as the G450W, this model is a water-cooled gun rated for high-performance industrial environments. Water cooling allows the gun to operate at higher amperages for longer duty cycles compared to air-cooled equivalents, keeping the front-end consumables and the handle cool. The gun comes standard with 550A expendables, demonstrating its capacity for heavy-duty work. It supports a wire diameter range of 0.035 to 1/16 inch (0.9 - 1.6 mm), making it versatile for various material thicknesses. It features a Quick-Change Liner that can be replaced simply by removing a set screw, and the patented EZ-Lock system allows for 360-degree rotation or replacement of the barrel tube. The gun utilizes Magnum PRO consumables, known for their Copper Plus technology which extends contact tip life. The rear trigger configuration and 7-pin connection ensure seamless integration with compatible Lincoln Electric power sources.
