Introducing the improved Tweco Velocity. We have taken into account the feedback from welders who desired a simpler design with fewer tools and threads. The result is a product that no longer requires any tools and has significantly reduced the number of threads. Unlike typical MIG consumables that have multiple sets of threads, Velocity only has one set. Additionally, Velocity's unique design combines both soft (brass) and hard (stainless steel) materials in its mating threads, which greatly reduces the risk of seizing and cross threading. The heat-treated stainless threads on the gooseneck ensure durability, while the softer brass threads on the replaceable nozzle provide excellent grip and prevent loosening. With our Fixed Threaded feature, the nozzle opening and contact tip maintain a consistent flushness relationship. On the other hand, the Adjustable Slip feature allows welders to easily adjust the flushness relationship, improving access for cleaning purposes. Lastly, our Spot Weld feature offers a convenient solution for tack and spot welding using MIG technology.
