OVERVIEW

Reliable Red Acetylene Hose for Your Torch

Get the reach and reliability you need with our 25-foot Single Line Acetylene Hose. If you are a welder or fabricator, you know that a leaky or stiff hose is more than just an annoyance—it's a safety hazard. This replacement hose is built to keep you cutting and welding safely. It features a rugged red rubber exterior that stands up to the sparks, abrasion, and grime of the shop floor while maintaining the flexibility you need to maneuver your torch into tight spots.

This hose is a single line unit, meaning it is not bonded to an oxygen hose. This makes it the perfect solution for several scenarios. Perhaps your old twin hose developed a leak on the acetylene side only—why replace both when you can just swap out the damaged line? Or maybe your shop setup requires your oxygen and acetylene tanks to be spaced far apart. In either case, this hose gives you the freedom to configure your equipment exactly how you need it. The 1/4-inch diameter is the standard size for most medium to heavy-duty torches, ensuring you get the full flow required for clean cuts and stable flames.

We know that compatibility matters. That's why this hose comes pre-fitted with standard B-size brass nuts. The threads are Left-Handed (indicated by the notch on the nut), ensuring they will screw directly onto your standard acetylene regulator and torch handle without any adapters. The crimps are heavy-duty and pressure-tested to ensure a leak-free seal. Don't compromise on your gas delivery system; upgrade your rig with a fresh, safe, and flexible red acetylene hose that is ready to work as hard as you do.

Why Choose Single Line?

While twin hoses are common, single lines offer superior flexibility and are easier to coil and store when used individually. They also reduce the drag weight on your torch handle if you are supporting the lines separately, potentially reducing wrist fatigue during long cutting jobs.

FAQ

This hose comes with standard 'B-size' fittings, which are 9/16"-18 threads. Since it is for acetylene (fuel gas), the threads are Left-Handed to prevent accidental connection to oxygen equipment.

Generally, red hoses marked for Acetylene are Grade R, which is not recommended for Propane. Propane can degrade Grade R rubber over time. For Propane, you should look for Grade T hose.

This is a single line hose. It contains only one hose for the fuel gas, not two bonded together.

The inner diameter (ID) is 1/4 inch, which is a standard size for most industrial welding and cutting torches.

In the welding industry, red is the universal color code for fuel gases (like acetylene), while green is used for oxygen. This helps operators quickly identify lines for safety.

The hose is reversible; both ends have the same B-size Left-Hand fittings. You can connect either end to the regulator or the torch.

Standard acetylene hoses are typically rated for a working pressure of 200 PSI, although acetylene itself is never used above 15 PSI for safety reasons.
