OVERVIEW

Get the Reach You Need: 100ft Oxy-Acetylene Hose

Stop dragging your heavy cylinder cart every five feet just to reach the other side of your workpiece. With the HOSRH-2105 100ft Twin Welding Hose, you get the freedom to move around your shop, garage, or job site with ease. This is a classic Grade R hose, meaning it is built specifically for the traditional welder running a standard Oxy-Acetylene setup. Whether you are cutting structural steel beams, heating up seized parts, or brazing copper fittings, this hose delivers the gas flow you need with the durability you expect from a professional tool.

Built for the Shop Environment

We know that welding hoses take a beating. They get dragged over rough concrete, pulled around sharp metal corners, and occasionally stepped on. This hose is designed to handle the daily grind. The twin-line design keeps your oxygen and fuel lines paired together neatly, so you don't end up with a spaghetti mess of cables on the floor that creates a tripping hazard. The 1/4-inch diameter is the "goldilocks" size for most torches—big enough to deliver plenty of gas for heavy cutting, but light enough to not drag your hand down while you are trying to keep a steady bead.

Important Safety Info: Acetylene Only

This hose is color-coded Red and Green, so you always know which line is which. Crucial Tip: This is a Grade R hose. That means it loves Acetylene but it hates Propane. If you are running Acetylene, this is the perfect, cost-effective choice for you. If you ever decide to switch your fuel gas to Propane or Natural Gas, you will need to swap this out for a Grade T hose. But for the dedicated Acetylene user, this 100-footer is the perfect upgrade to your rig, giving you the distance to work on large trailers, chassis, or structural assemblies without being tethered to the wall.

Ready to Work

The hose comes ready to go right out of the box. It features standard B-size brass fittings that screw right onto your regulators and torch handle. No need for adapters or crimping tools—just tighten them up (remember, the red nut has left-hand threads!), check for leaks with some soapy water, and you are ready to spark up.

FAQ

No. This is a Grade R hose designed specifically for Acetylene. Propane and other fuel gases can deteriorate the rubber lining of Grade R hoses, leading to leaks. You must use Grade T hose for Propane.

This hose has a 1/4-inch inner diameter (ID), which is the standard size for most industrial welding and cutting applications.

Yes, the hose comes with factory-crimped standard B-size (9/16"-18) fittings, compatible with most standard regulators and torches.

Grade R is suitable for Acetylene only and is generally not oil-resistant. Grade T is an 'All Fuel' hose that is oil-resistant and safe for Acetylene, Propane, Natural Gas, and MAPP gas.

The hose is color-coded: Red is for the Fuel gas (Acetylene) and Green is for Oxygen. The Red fittings will also have a notch indicating left-hand threads.

For a 1/4-inch hose, 100 feet is generally acceptable for most standard applications. However, for extremely heavy cutting requiring very high flow, you should consult a pressure drop chart to ensure your regulators can supply adequate pressure at the torch.

Keep the hose coiled neatly when not in use, away from oil, grease, and direct sunlight. Avoid hanging it on sharp hooks that could cause kinks.
