OVERVIEW

Lightweight Flexibility for Precision Torch Work

Tired of fighting with heavy, stiff hoses while trying to perform delicate welds or cuts? The HOSRH-2002 Twin Hose is your solution. With a 3/16-inch diameter, this hose is significantly lighter and more flexible than the standard 1/4-inch hoses found on heavy-duty rigs. This makes it the perfect choice for welders using smaller torches for aircraft welding, art sculpting, or light fabrication where wrist fatigue is a real concern.

This 25-foot hose gives you plenty of room to move around your workpiece without getting tangled or dragging heavy lines. It is a Grade R hose, meaning it is specifically built for Oxy-Acetylene welding and cutting. The red and green lines are bonded together to keep your floor tidy and prevent the "spaghetti" mess of separate lines. The durable rubber cover resists sparks and abrasion from shop floors, ensuring your gear lasts.

Important Safety Note: This is a Grade R hose. It is designed strictly for Acetylene gas. Do not use this hose with Propane, Natural Gas, or MAPP gas, as those fuels can deteriorate the rubber lining of Grade R hoses, leading to leaks and safety hazards. If you run Acetylene, this is the economical and comfortable choice for your daily work.

Why Choose 3/16" Over 1/4"?

  • Less Drag: Easier to manipulate the torch.
  • Reduced Fatigue: Less weight hanging off your wrist.
  • Better Control: Ideal for fine detail work.

FAQ

Grade R indicates that the hose is designed for use with Acetylene gas only. The fuel gas line (Red) is not oil-resistant and is not compatible with propane or other fuel gases.

No. You must use a Grade T hose for Propane, Propylene, or Natural Gas. Grade R hoses can degrade rapidly if used with these fuels, causing potential leaks.

A 3/16" hose is lighter and more flexible than the standard 1/4" hose. This reduces operator fatigue and provides better torch control for fine work.

Yes, this hose comes as a complete assembly with standard threaded fittings crimped on both ends, ready to attach to your regulators and torch.

Standard Grade R welding hoses are typically rated for a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI.

The hose is color-coded: Green is for Oxygen, and Red is for the Fuel gas (Acetylene). The fittings are also threaded differently (Oxygen is right-hand, Fuel is left-hand) to prevent cross-connection.
