The Tweco WeldSkill 250 MIG Gun (Part No. 1027-1061) is designed to provide welders with superior versatility and comfort in medium to heavy-duty welding applications. Rated at 250 Amps (at 60% duty cycle with CO2), this air-cooled torch is engineered for production welding, maintenance, and repair operations where accessibility is a challenge.
The defining feature of this model is the Flexible Conductor Tube (Flex CT). Unlike rigid goosenecks, the Flex CT allows the operator to bend the end of the torch to navigate around obstacles and access joints in confined spaces. This capability significantly improves weld quality by allowing the welder to maintain proper gun angles and stick-out in difficult positions, reducing the need for rework.
Equipped with a 15-foot (4.5m) cable, this gun offers extended reach for working on large assemblies. It utilizes a standard Tweco-style rear connection, making it compatible with a vast range of wire feeders and power sources. The gun is designed to use industry-standard Tweco WeldSkill consumables, including 11 Series contact tips, 22 Series nozzles, and 32 Series insulators, ensuring low operating costs and easy inventory management.
