The Tweco Classic No. 1 (Part No. 1010-1113) is a premium air-cooled MIG gun rated for 180 Amps at 60% duty cycle (using CO2 gas). Engineered for performance and longevity, this gun is an ideal choice for automotive, farm, and light industrial fabrication applications. The 15-foot cable assembly offers excellent flexibility and reach, featuring a durable outer jacket that resists cuts, abrasion, and heat.
At the core of the Classic No. 1 is its heavy-duty design. The gun features a metal-jacketed conductor tube (gooseneck) that can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing access to difficult-to-reach weld joints. The connection to the wire feeder is a solid Tweco-style backend, ensuring a high-conductivity electrical connection and secure gas seal. The gun comes factory-installed with a liner and contact tip setup typically optimized for .030" to .035" (0.8mm - 0.9mm) welding wire, though it can accommodate wire sizes ranging from .023" up to .045" with the appropriate liner and tip changes.
