The Tweco 1450-1125 is a standard steel wound conduit designed for the 45 Series consumable platform. It is engineered to accommodate large diameter wires ranging from 0.062" (1/16") to 0.078" (5/64"). This specific liner comes in a 25-foot (7.6 meter) length, suitable for extended reach MIG gun packages.

Construction & Compatibility:

The liner body is coiled from high-tensile zinc-plated music wire, providing a low coefficient of friction and high resistance to corrosion. It features a standard Tweco backend stop (typically a brass or alloy crimped stop) that seats firmly into the power pin or adapter block of the wire feeder. The liner is compatible with:

• Tweco Professional Series: No. 4 (400A), No. 5 (500A), No. 6 (600A)
• Tweco Spray Master Series: SM450, SM600
• Other MIG guns utilizing 45-series liners

Installation & Maintenance:

Proper liner length is critical for performance. The 1450-1125 is supplied ready for 25ft cables but can be trimmed for custom lengths. When installing, ensure the liner is cut with the correct stick-out at the front end to mate properly with the gas diffuser, preventing gas leakage or wire shaving. Regular inspection for kinked or clogged coils is recommended, especially when using flux-cored wires which can generate significant debris inside the conduit.
