The Miller 1070117 AccuLock S Diffuser is engineered to enhance the performance of standard M-25 MIG guns by integrating the superior design features of the AccuLock S consumable platform. Unlike traditional threaded connections that rely solely on thread engagement for electrical transfer, this diffuser features a precision-tapered connection. When the AccuLock S contact tip is installed, the taper locks the tip firmly to the diffuser, creating a massive surface area for electrical conductivity. This design significantly reduces electrical resistance and heat generation at the connection point, leading to a more stable arc and consistent welding output.

Cooling Technology
One of the standout features of this diffuser is the "Cooling Tail" design. The contact tip tail is positioned deep inside the diffuser, where it is directly exposed to the flow of shielding gas. This active cooling mechanism extracts heat from the tip more efficiently than standard designs, extending the lifespan of your consumables even under high-amperage applications. Installation and Compatibility
Installing the conversion diffuser is straightforward and requires no modification to the gun liner.

• First, remove the existing nozzle, contact tip, and the old M-Series nozzle adapter (169729) and contact tip adapter (169728).
• Ensure your liner is trimmed correctly (standard trim is sufficient; no new trimming is usually required).
• If the shock washer (169730) is damaged, replace it with a 4623RM nozzle insulator.
• Thread the new 1070117 AccuLock diffuser onto the gun neck.
• Install an AccuLock S contact tip and nozzle.
