If you are running a Tweco #2 or a Lincoln Magnum 200 MIG gun, you know that the front-end consumables are the heartbeat of your setup. The P52 Gas Diffuser is the standard brass replacement part that keeps your torch firing consistently. The gas diffuser does two main jobs, and this P52 does them both well. First, it transfers the welding current from the conductor tube to your contact tip. If your old diffuser is worn out, cross-threaded, or dirty, you lose power right where you need it most, causing the wire to burn back or the arc to stutter. Second, it breaks up the stream of shielding gas coming down the liner into a smooth, even cloud that surrounds your weld. Without this smooth flow, air gets into your puddle, and you end up with porosity (holes) in your weld. Installation is a breeze. It screws directly onto the conductor tube of your 200-amp gun. Once it's on, you can screw in your standard 14-series contact tips (like the 14-30 or 14-35) and slip on your nozzle insulator and nozzle.
