OVERVIEW

Experience Flawless Feeding with Miller AccuLock MDX Nozzles

Tired of MIG nozzles that wobble, fall off, or overheat in the middle of a job? The Miller AccuLock™ MDX™ N-M58XTC Thread-On Nozzle is engineered to solve the most frustrating aspects of MIG welding. Designed exclusively for the MDX-250 series MIG guns, this nozzle represents a significant leap forward in consumable technology. The secret lies in the "Stays Tight" guarantee: a coarse-threaded design paired with a durable steel retaining ring ensures your nozzle stays firmly attached to the diffuser, no matter how hot the action gets. Say goodbye to pausing your weld just to push a loose nozzle back on.

Beyond just staying put, the N-M58XTC is a key player in the AccuLock "Optimized Wire-Feeding" system. When you screw this nozzle onto your gun, it helps align the contact tip and the liner perfectly. This alignment eliminates the friction and snagging that often leads to erratic arcs and frustrating wire burnback. The result is a smooth, stable arc that makes you look like a pro, whether you are welding thin sheet metal or heavy structural steel. The 5/8-inch bore is the "goldilocks" size for most applications—large enough to provide excellent gas coverage to prevent porosity, but compact enough to maneuver into corners.

This specific model features a 1/8-inch tip extension (stickout). This means the contact tip pokes out slightly past the end of the nozzle. Many welders prefer this configuration because it offers better visibility of the weld puddle and allows you to get closer to the root of the joint without the nozzle getting in the way. It is ideal for short-circuit MIG welding where seeing the arc is critical.

Compatible Machines:

FAQ

This nozzle is compatible with Miller MDX-250 and MDX-250 EZ-Select MIG guns. It is NOT compatible with MDX-100 guns or legacy M-Series guns.

A 1/8 inch tip extension (stickout) allows the contact tip to protrude slightly, offering better visibility of the weld puddle and allowing the welder to get closer to the joint, which is helpful for tight corners.

It fits the Millermatic 211 only if the machine is equipped with an MDX-250 MIG gun. If your machine has the smaller MDX-100 gun, you will need different consumables.

The nozzle is made of copper, which provides excellent thermal conductivity to dissipate heat and prolong the life of the consumable.

The nozzle features a threaded connection with a steel retaining ring on the diffuser that prevents it from loosening due to thermal expansion and contraction during welding.

The N-M58XTC has a 5/8-inch (0.625") orifice diameter.

While physically possible, flux-cored welding typically does not require a nozzle for gas shielding (unless dual-shield). For gasless flux-core, a gasless nozzle (flux cap) is recommended to protect the threads without obstructing the view.

This specific SKU represents a single nozzle, though they are often purchased in bulk packs for industrial use.
