The Miller N-M1200C is a genuine AccuLock™ MDX™ series nozzle designed for use with Miller MDX-250 and MDX-250 EZ-Select™ MIG welding guns. This package contains two (2) nozzles. The nozzle features a 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) bore and a flush tip geometry, making it the standard configuration for a wide range of short-circuit and spray transfer MIG applications. The flush tip design allows for better visibility of the weld puddle compared to recessed tips, while still providing adequate gas shielding in draft-free environments.

Compatibility and Fitment

This nozzle is exclusively compatible with the AccuLock MDX consumable platform. It mates with the D-M250 gas diffuser. It is not compatible with AccuLock S (industrial) diffusers or legacy Miller M-Series guns (such as the M-25 or M-40). The connection type is threaded, utilizing a coarse thread pitch that resists seizing and cross-threading. The internal geometry is optimized to reduce shielding gas turbulence, ensuring laminar flow over the weld pool.

Material and Duty Cycle

Manufactured from industrial copper, the N-M1200C is designed to handle the amperage ratings of the MDX-250 gun (up to 250 amps). The copper construction ensures rapid heat dissipation, preventing the adhesion of spatter and prolonging the service life of the nozzle. For applications requiring higher heat resistance or access to tight corners, users may consider tapered versions, but the 1/2" flush configuration remains the industry standard for general fabrication on mild steel.

Installation Notes

To install, ensure the D-M250 diffuser is properly seated. Thread the nozzle clockwise onto the diffuser until fully seated. The steel retaining ring on the diffuser will engage the nozzle threads to prevent backing out due to thermal expansion. Periodic cleaning of spatter from the bore is recommended to maintain proper gas flow. Use of nozzle dip or anti-spatter spray is compatible with this product.
