The Weldcraft 53N14 is a standard 1/16-inch (1.6mm) collet designed for use with air-cooled and water-cooled micro TIG torches, specifically the 24 Series, A-80, and W-180 models. These torches are characterized by their compact size and are widely used in applications requiring high precision and maneuverability. The collet plays a critical role in the TIG welding process by securing the tungsten electrode and transferring the welding current from the torch body to the electrode.
Manufactured to precise tolerances, the 53N14 collet ensures concentricity of the electrode, which is vital for maintaining a focused arc in precision welding applications.
