Struggling to see your arc in a tight corner? The 45V29 Gas Lens for 3/32" (2.4mm) tungsten is the upgrade your TIG torch needs. Compatible with all air-cooled 17 and 26 series torches, as well as water-cooled 18 series torches, this little part makes a huge difference in how your torch handles. Standard collet bodies just dump gas out of the cup, creating turbulence that can suck in air and ruin your weld. This gas lens uses a special screen to smooth out that flow, giving you a calm, steady stream of shielding gas.

Why does that matter? Stick-out. With a gas lens, you can extend your tungsten much further out of the cup—sometimes up to an inch depending on conditions—and still keep your weld protected. This means you can finally see around the nozzle and get right into those tight joints without dipping your tungsten. It also helps keep your stainless steel welds colorful and clean by preventing the atmosphere from contaminating the puddle while it cools.

Installation is easy, but remember: you can't use your standard pink cups with this. You'll need to grab some 54N series gas lens cups and a 54N01 insulator to make it fit.
