Standard collet bodies push gas out in a chaotic, turbulent cloud. This gas lens uses a fine mesh screen to straighten that flow into a smooth, laminar stream. Why does that matter? It means you can stick your tungsten out much further—sometimes twice as far as normal—and still keep the weld protected. This extra stick-out gives you a clear line of sight to the arc and the puddle, allowing for more precise control and better looking beads.
