PTA-17V Torch Specifications

The "V" designation indicates a manual gas valve located on the torch handle. This provides the operator with direct control over shielding gas flow, a critical feature when precise pre-flow and post-flow management is required manually, or when operating in environments where gas conservation is a priority. The torch features a 12.5-foot one-piece cable and a knurled handle design that offers a non-slip grip for superior torch manipulation and reduced operator fatigue during extended welding sessions.

Application Notes

It is important to note that the Power MIG 210 MP is a DC-output machine when in TIG mode. Consequently, this kit is designed for DCEN (Direct Current Electrode Negative) welding of ferrous metals and stainless steel. It is not suitable for AC TIG welding of aluminum.
