The CK2325FX is part of CK Worldwide's "Trim-Line" series, engineered to provide 300 Amps at 100% duty cycle while utilizing the compact front-end consumables of a Series 2 (9/20 style) torch. This unique configuration allows the welder to handle high-heat applications—such as heavy aluminum or thick stainless steel—without the bulk associated with standard Series 3 (17/18/26) torches. The reduction in head size improves line-of-sight to the puddle, which is critical for precision welding.
This model is water-cooled, utilizing CK's proprietary internal cooling chamber design which maximizes thermal transfer. This ensures the torch remains cool to the touch even during extended welding cycles at high amperage. The "FX" designation indicates a Flex Head assembly. The silicone rubber insulation on the head is high-temperature resistant, preventing high-frequency leakage and ensuring durability even when the head is adjusted frequently.
The torch comes equipped with a 25-foot Super-Flex cable assembly. Unlike traditional cables that stiffen in cold environments or resist movement, Super-Flex cables use a silicone hose with a nylon overbraid. This construction provides the ultimate flexibility and durability, resisting abrasion and kinking. The three-piece cable assembly separates the power, water, and gas lines, which is standard for high-performance water-cooled setups.
One of the technical advantages of the CK23 is its use of Series 2 consumables (compatible with 9, 20, and 25 series torches). This allows shops to standardize inventory on collets, collet bodies, and gas lenses, reducing the need to stock multiple sizes of consumables for different amperage torches. The torch accepts tungsten electrodes up to 1/8" (3.2mm).
