This kit features Ceriated Tungsten (the ones with the grey tip). Ceriated tungsten is a fantastic all-rounder. It starts easily at low amps, holds a sharp point well, and works great on both steel and stainless steel. It's also a safer, non-radioactive alternative to the old red-tip Thoriated tungsten. The kit includes three popular sizes—.040", 1/16", and 3/32"—so you can tackle everything from delicate sheet metal to thicker structural brackets without needing to run to the store.
