Unlike generic magnetic lights or handheld torches, this kit is purpose-built to mount directly to the headgear knobs of professional welding hoods, ensuring the light source moves with you and remains focused on your hands and the weld joint.

Technical Specifications and Performance

Each flashlight in this dual-light system outputs 70 lumens, providing a total of 140 lumens of bright white light. This illumination level is calibrated to cut through the darkness without washing out the view through the welding lens. The LEDs are energy-efficient, providing a runtime of 5+ hours on standard AAA batteries, which are included in the package. The physical design focuses on ergonomics; the lights are compact (approx. 5.5 inches) and extremely lightweight at just 64 grams (2.26 oz) per assembly. This ensures that the balance of your helmet remains undisturbed, allowing for all-day comfort.

Compatibility and Installation

This kit is designed for extensive compatibility across the Miller Electric and Hobart product lines. It installs easily using the existing headgear friction knobs on your helmet. The kit includes specific adapters to ensure a tight fit:

• Black Washers: Use these for Miller Digital helmets (Infinity, Elite, Performance).
• Grey Washers: Use these for Miller Analog helmets (Classic, MP-10) and Hobart helmets (Impact, Pro, Discovery).
