OVERVIEW

The Ultimate Do-It-All Welder for Your Garage or Shop

Meet your new best friend in the workshop: the Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 211i. If you are looking for a machine that can handle just about any project you throw at it, from fixing a trailer frame to fabricating custom furniture, this is the one. The K5706-1 is a true multi-process beast, giving you the freedom to MIG weld, Flux-Core weld, Stick weld, and even DC TIG weld, all from a single, compact box that you can easily carry with one hand.

One of the coolest features of the 211i is its Dual Voltage input. No 230V outlet? No problem. You can run this machine on standard 120V household power for lighter projects. When you need to crank up the heat for thicker steel (up to 3/8 inch), just switch the cord to 230V, and you are ready to rock with up to 175 amps of welding power. It’s like having two welders in one.

Simple, Rugged, and Ready to Weld

Lincoln Electric listened to user feedback and designed the 211i to be incredibly user-friendly. Forget about getting lost in complicated digital menus; the simple 7-segment display and large control knobs make dialing in your settings fast and frustration-free. The "i" stands for improved reliability and interface, ensuring you spend more time welding and less time fiddling with settings.

This package is loaded with everything you need to get started immediately. It includes the high-quality Magnum PRO 100L gun, a stick electrode holder, a heavy-duty ground clamp, and even sample spools of wire. It’s lightweight (only 41 lbs!), tough enough to bounce around in the back of a truck, and precise enough for detailed automotive work. If you want to weld aluminum, just grab the optional spool gun, and you are good to go. Upgrade your welding game with the POWER MIG 211i.

FAQ

The POWER MIG 211i is the successor to the 210 MP. The 211i features a simplified, more rugged user interface (7-segment display vs. color screen), improved case durability, and an updated drive roll mechanism, while maintaining similar arc performance and portability.

No, the standard K5706-1 package does not include a TIG torch. It includes equipment for MIG, Flux-Cored, and Stick welding. To TIG weld, you will need to purchase a compatible TIG torch (like the K1782-16) and a foot pedal separately.

Yes, but you will need the optional spool gun (K3269-1). The standard MIG gun is not recommended for feeding soft aluminum wire. Note that this machine does DC TIG only, so it cannot TIG weld aluminum (which requires AC).

The POWER MIG 211i is a dual-voltage machine. It can operate on 120V or 230V single-phase input power. The unit comes with detachable input power cords for both receptacle types.

On 230V input, the machine can weld mild steel up to approximately 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) thick using the MIG process or Stick process. On 120V input, capacity is reduced.

The POWER MIG 211i features a robust cast aluminum drive system for consistent wire feeding and long-term durability.

Yes, the machine has a 6-pin connector that supports a remote foot pedal (such as the K4361-1) for amperage control while TIG welding.

The machine accepts both 4-inch (1 lb or 2 lb) and 8-inch (10 lb or 12.5 lb) wire spools. An adapter for the 8-inch spools is included.
