The included Intellx Elite feeder sets this package apart by adding advanced arc control features. It includes EZ-Set technology, which simplifies parameter setup based on material thickness, removing complexity and reducing the time required to train new welders. The feeder also enables Accu-Pulse® MIG (GMAW-P) and High-deposition MIG capabilities, giving your shop the versatility to handle a wide range of applications from light-gauge tube to heavy structural beams. The system is also backwards compatible, offering a model with both ArcConnect and the standard Miller 14-pin connection for use with older feeders if needed.
Beyond standard MIG and Flux-cored welding, the Deltaweld 500 features a dedicated constant current carbon arc gouge mode. This mode is specifically designed to gouge with up to 3/8-inch carbons, making it a versatile tool for weld removal and surface preparation.
