I would buy this product again
I used this product on small projects around the house and also to current on my welding skills.
Great machine
Just got it out of the box and set it up and was very impressed, tig welded 3/16" aluminum and it did great, love the screen with all the information it gives you
So simple to setup for a quick job or change materials.
An upgrade to my older Syncrowave 180SD machine. Great unit and still a great TIG machine after 20 years but was very difficult to transport. The 212 gives me portability, lots of auto sets plus pulse. Didn't have to have it but i WANTED it!
Yes indeed!
Great machine. Had a Diversion 180 with hard wired torch, lousy foot amp control, and an expensive price tag. The Syncrowave 212 is far superior in every way. A little bit more heavy than the Diversion, but you get a lot more machine for a couple less hundred bucks. Being a multipurpose power source, it handles TIG tasks with ease, stick with small rod, and I found out it also runs a 1/8 inch ArcAir corbon electrode torch for removing small welds as needed. Display is simple , allowing for fine tuning of amperage as needed. All said, the 212 is a very well built machine, easy to figure out, and replaces the Diversion 180 with room to spare.
