Used this product on the job? Tell other welders how it held up.
The best miller welder ever build all in one together.
Work around the house and for building heavy duty metal jobs .
Another slam dunk Multimatic from Miller!!!!
Miller absolutely knocked this one out of the park!! Again, Miller has exceeded its advertising and claims of what this machine can do. I have been researching and studying for a few years and recently got a job shop fabricating stainless handrails and needed pulsed stainless MIG. I decided to pull the trigger. Could not have been happier with the product and its ability. It was so good I called Miller tech support to let them know how accurate and awesome this machine is! If you are on the fence about spending the money, do it, once you're turning out quality welded product in less time with no heat distortion, you will not think about the investment.
Got two of these as an "upgrade" for 252s.
Constantly overheated. Basically not even close in comparison to the 252s. Returning them for lack of performance since they could not weld more than a few feet at a time and weld performance was not comparable. Put the 252s back in service. Basically if you run high duty cycles on thick material (1/4 to 1/2 inches plus) these are not the machine for the job. So consider your application first.
I am going to purchase three more because of the versatility
The Miller Electric Multimatic 255 Multiprocess Welder is a great addition to our Welding Lab. This machine can handle up to 300 amps. This machine is perfect for a fabricator that specializes in Commercial Sheet Metal Fabrication. I recommend this machine.
The Multimatic 255 Multiprocess welder is fabulous
Actually it was purchased in November 2023. This welder is fabulous! It runs quietly, whereas the 235 has a fan running constantly and is loud. This 255 has pulse and the students love it! Easy to keep everything connected and make a switch quickly for MIG, TIG, or ARC. The 255 welds heavier materials and is nicer to use than the 235, but the cost difference is about $1000. The Multimatic 255 Multiprocess welder with the two tank dolly setup is excellent, in mine and the students opinions. I also like the machine cover as it protects the machine neatly while not used for months. Only desire for a difference is longer work clamp and gun cables would be a plus.
cant wait to get two more of these for the shop
so far this welder has been a good buy very easy to set up and use !
I will buy it again if I need another one.
Great machine, good quality. Just wish would it come with 25 feet long mig gun.
I would but this machine again and again
This is probably the most versatile machine I have ever seen or used, my guys in the shop could not wait to get it hooked up and try the pulse function. This is the second unit I have been involved with the purchase and I personally love them, you can run it off of a generator or welder, it's portable and light with a huge ability, Mig, Stick and Tig. We are a Mechanical Company, and the purpose of this machine is to use in our maintenance department for repairs and light manufacturing.
yes wish i got this sooner
great new tool for my shop help to keep me current on all types of welding
Very satisfied
Primarily used for semi trailer repair. Great upgrade from our much smaller Lincoln welder. Auto settings, and having both gas bottles attached at all times is much more convieniant.
